When you create a photograph, one devoid of colour but rich in emotion, you create something that is abstract yet strikingly real at the same time. Black and white photography is special and beautiful that way. It is perhaps this abstract quality that makes black and white images so intriguing and timeless and it is one thing that makes each photo in this collection personal to me.

...thoughts on b&w
Black and white was once the only medium we had as photographers to communicate photographically. That was long before most of us got involved in it, but it's something I think about when I create my works.
tbh....You must work hard and train yourself to “see” in tone (ignore colors in front of your camera) if you want really want to become a pro at creating better B&W photos. Simplify the scene and always try to be creative, visualise the photo in your head and shoot!! shoot!! shoot!!
